Failed MOT

so my Mav failed its Mot today, front offsde outer gaiter :doh
is this something I can do myself without any special tools

also advisary on rear brake pipes, but I knew about those & hope to do them later in year.

Was it torn or perished. As a quick ( mines lasted 4 yrs ) way to get it re-tested and passed the wrap around and super glue ones are the easiest and to do. David.

yeah just spotted them on the bay, i will get 1 for now see how it goes :thumb2

Don't use ordinary super glue. Industrial will last a lot longer.

Special Silicone tape.

I used the self fusing silicone tape off e-bay on one of my front drive shaft CV's it lasted a couple of years and then had it done properly.
