The pictured socket is the only one under the fusebox (2001 Ter) and the Snapon machine seams to work in it.
As you should be able to see that not all of the connectors in the socket have connectors in them .
1, , ,4,5, , , ,
9,10,11,13,14, , , The numbered connectors are the ones that are in the socket and all the rest are blanks.
Anyway I tried the paper clip theory and couldn't get it to do anything.
I took the injectors out and had them cleaned and number one (electronic one ) was tested and was within the tolerances but the guy said I could do with replacing it soon.
Refitted injectors and the Snapon machine came up with crank sensor and Needle lift sensor again, it was then cleared and engine light went off.
Brilliant I thought !! Took it for a test drive and it went like a scolded cat but then after a 5 minute run while giving it a good bootfull it got to about 3000rpm spluttered then the engine light came back on and now it is gutless again.
