My terrano has been an ongoing project for a while now so I thought I would get a thread going.
This is how she looked when I first got her.
Was getting ready for a couple of tyres so that started the process of transformation.
I saved some pennies and got some 2"spring spacers and a set of 265/75/15 muds.

Had to do a bit of bumper and mudflap trimming to get the clearance but they were still rubbing on the pas box so I fitted a set of 30mm hubcentric spacers I had sat in the shed
I also fitted a bonnet protector and wind deflectors.
This is how she looked for a while until I started again.

Brilliant mate, will watch with interest as you show us your mods. It was a grand car even before you did all your mods.

Next came the bling phase.
Bought and fitted an A bar, bumper corners and side steps.

Didn't stop me getting out on the lanes and getting dirty.

Don't spose you still have the black bull bar thingy do you?

Looks good I've never seen a bonnet protector for terrano before. My first mod so to speak was tyres too, bigger than standard, BFG a/t's made big difference on and off road, mot in Dec for mine, not looking forward to it :( , Mark.

That went a long time ago.
The captive bolts where knackered and it was held on by luck and cable ties :lol

The transformation continues.
I came across a set of five 8j steel D mods with kuhmo Kl 71 muds so it was rude not to.

Now the bug was really biting so next came a snorkel.

Air box was modded to take the new inlet pipe.

More to come :thumb2

I now decided that the shiny bling didn't suit the truck with its new black wheels and snorkel so off it came.

Also had a light bar with four ring rally giant spots on that I fitted. Was a bit up there so I flipped the bar over so they sat a bit lower.

Next came the droplinks on the Arb.
swapped the standard ones for rose joints and never looked back.

Also gave the Arb a shotblast and powdercoat while it was off.

Next on the list was a 2" bodylift purchased from xpajan.

Even gave it a wash once it was lifted:lol

The front was still a bit blingy with the chrome grill so I matched it to the body colour.

Next came the new 75mm lift rear coils and a pair of +3"pro comp gas shocks.

The steps at work where perfect for testing the flex :lol

Still more to come.

Looking forward to more mods & pics :thumb2 :thumb2

Looking good mate

What did you do with the chrome nudge/bull bar?

Nice!

With the 3 inch lift on the back how did you do the front? Was it a just a straight 3 inch lift on the torsion bar.

I had already raised the front by 2" and didn't want to run out of droop travel so I left them alone.

The next installment.
I went away on holiday and came back to these :thumb2

Wasn't long before they were on the rims and ready to fit.

Had to do a bit of trimming on the front end and tweak the torsion bars to get them to clear.

Also added some 6mm thick rubber strips to the arches to stay within the law.
Next on the list was a steering damper, pas box idler and updated drag link.

Dark nights where upon us so a bit of led up front soon brightened things up.

The beige carpets where looking a bit worse for wear so out they came and got replaced with rubber matting.

Next came the front winch.I started this project with the intention of having the winch hidden behind the bumper but as the build progressed it kind of became a big feature:lol

Next came the bumper trimming.....too late to go back now

Looked a bit bare now at the sides of the winch tray so I set about building some infill plates.

Cracking mods there mate :thumb2
Amazing when you look back at the standard pictures the transformation is epic ;)
