Hi all,
I'm having trouble tracking down the exact location of the ECU (Or as the workshop manual calls it,the ECM?)
The manual, seems to indicate that it's behind the center console around the area of the ash tray maybe, but others seem to think it's maybe under the front passenger seat.I cant see anything under the seat other than a metal shield & some cables that go into the seat.
Any help would be great thanks. This is an ongoing issue that has both proved costly & time consuming as it shows up as a TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) fault, so i got a new pedal assembly & had it fitted, code came up again a few weeks later, and then nothing for a month or so & then started again, also dropping the car into limp home mode.
Mechs cant find anything wrong, it's run on various diag machines, some clear & some with the TPS error. So we are at a point where we want to locate the ECU & work back etc with wires.
Thanks again for your help folks.
