i keep knocking off my door mirrors when out greenlaning , can anyone suggest a cheaper alternative door mirror i can fit from another vehicle

hi mate where do u go laning as i live in devon and find it hard to find green lanes you r allowed to go down im from crediton nr exeter

Im from north devon, theres a few about, get yourself a good OS map, I'm a member af 4x4 response and we organise a few laning days, also get the latest total off road mag, i havent got it yet but theres a write up on a load of private tracks on exmoor that's being opened to 4x4 users, should be an intresting read. They also do a section where they visit different regions and do a days laning, I've got one that starts in woolacombe and ends in south-Milton

Trust me if there was a known solution we have cottoned on to it. The only thing I can suggest is looking for a truck mirror or something that you could bolt to the stub?

thaks for that might come up and have ago soon done 4 green lanes but they r not long say 1-1.5 miles long

When I broke mine off on a tree, I didn't want to spend ££ on another.

So I just put a nut and bolt through it, Does slightly wobble but Don't think it will break off as easily as before.

I used some washers and a spring washer too so it had some give in it so it would still fold if I hit anything with it.

find a mistral , they have electrically folding door mirrors
