Does my truck have an EGR?

Hello everyone, thanks for reading!

My truck is a 2000 2.7 TDI.
I've had a look where I think it should be after reading some threads and seeing some pics and can't find one, I can't see anything coming from exhaust side, nor an actuator or solenoid so I presume it hasn't got one!
Do some not have an EGR valve? Can anyone help? How will batman escape this one?,, err sorry :lol

Had a look today and nothing was obvious but I'm gonna have another look tmoro, cheers :thumb2

If you have one there will be 2 black vac pipes going over the top of the rocker box 1 go's to the butterfly valve on the inlet manifold just under the intercooler which you can't miss the linkage for it & the other one go's to the drivers side of the bulkhead onto the EGR valve

probably not worth bothering with feelers as the rockers will most likely have valve stem indents worn in them, trick is to have valve closed loosen adjuster screw down till it touches then back off quarter turn, Rick

some did some did not, look for the 25mm pipe across the back of the block, inlet manifold to exhaust if you have it you have if not then no, Rick
