Terrano sounds very ticky on idle and reving up it carry’s on with a slight grumbly tick drives perfect pulls like a train and not mechanically had any issues yet valve clearance injector noise maybe anyone else have this with there’s

Just curious having all 4 injector nozzles replaced in a week or two so will look at the valve clearance plus replace rocker gasket while am there.

Using mineral oil instead of semi synthetic made mine a lot quieter. Remember the TD27 is very old technology but dam reliable.

What oil did you use if you don’t mind me asking mate and yep old school but bullet proof to a degree doesn’t have any issues just sounds a a bit tractor like haha any ideas where I find the downloads section seen someone mention the valve clearance is documented there

Downloads section is in Quick Links at the top right of the webpages.

Can’t remember the grade but it was correct grade but old style fully mineral oil from Millers Oils. It’s expensive but I think worth it.

Somebody want a sound off :sly

Where you getting the nozzles/what make?, I looked into it a little, was going to try a company called monarc.

:lol I'll never forget that night in Wales :lol "somebody phone Pete, he's nearby I can hear his truck" :lol

That night was amazing, when he left you to come to us at the bothy it was surreal. We heard it over our chatter in candlelight and smoke from miles away

Fez donned his Poncho, we grabbed my keys, sprinted to my truck drove a little and decided that on foot was better as we were going to have to run as the crow flies to get in front of him.

By some stroke of luck he stopped in the middle of the road as we were about 10 seconds away from the truck and I managed to get to the truck and alert Pete we were here :thumb2 :thumb2

What a night!!!! I had a bad tummy though that night  #orangeshitbastard
