disconecting battery

Hi can you just disconnect the battery or is there a procedure you have to go through for the alarm system.

Just make sure youve got the keys in your pocket i did that once on terrano and the doors locked themselves key was in ignition had to break in to it:doh

Remove neg terminal first, and refit neg terminal last

As if u touch anything with the spanner whilst undoing positive terminal u will get massive sparks and possibly burn your hand as the spanner heats up and welds its self in place

make sure you know the radio code if you have a coded radio too

Got to admit I did that in the past on my fiesta lol
