DERBYSHIRE HEATHER DAY no.3
:thumb2 Date to be set later:thumb2
HI
I am planning a day out to view the heather in bloom
Heather blooms August/ September . I tend to avoid summer routes as they can very overgrown and scratchy.
Also people tend to be out with families walking and so on.
:clap:clap:clapThis could possibly be the itinerary :clap:clap:clap
EASY MORNINGS LANING THEN A LIGHT SNACK AND COMFORT STOP AT EYAM AND A FEW MORE LANES AND THEN MAYBE A BBQ. ON THE MOORS.
MAYBE AN EVENING DRIVE AS WELL (TEST YOUR ROOF LIGHTS OUT )
WATCH THE SUN GO DOWN FROM HOUNDKIRK MOORE.
The lanes wont be pre driven so may have to make some changes on the day.
But will be checked against closures ect.
SO BRING THE KIDS ALONG
AND MAKE A FAMILY DAY OUT OF IT.
SOME NOVICES WELCOME DEPENDING ON NO OF GROUPS.
OR EVEN A WEEKEND AS THERE ARE CARAVAN SITES NEAR BY.
PLEASE PUT YOUR NAMES DOWN IF INTERESTED.
