dash lights

Hi all

without any prior warning when i started my car yesterday three dash lights stayed on

Alternator light

AT oil temp. light

and water in fuel light

Car drove as always and the warning lights dimmed and went out when the engine was revved up.

No problem starting and the headlights did not appear to dim.

Both the 1 previous thread that i found and I suspect dodgy alternator.

I am going to check chargng rate with multimeter and for broken wires

but has one else got any pointers or suggestons

If requred has anyone got an alternator for a 2.7td N reg mistral?

Suggest you check the tension on the alternator belt first could be a tad lose and after warming up the belt is gripping better. Might not be much but just enough to be annoying.
