Had a problem with what feels like a misfire, told by garage it was the crankshaft sensor approx £170, the nissan agent was out of stock, does anyone know if this is a common fault ????

ive seen post on navara site that there about £17 for a navara so ten times that seems steep! try fleebay!

Sometimes if you take them out & clean off the clutch dust they can spring back into life

Hi folks,
do you think perhaps that a maverick one is the same as its a hell of a lot cheaper

I'll try that, erm. where is it????

TBH I don't know as i've never looked for it, but would think it'll be fitted into the bell housing on the gearbox & alot of them take a pick up off the flywheel but it would be worth checking the front bottom pulley incase it's fitted to read from that :?
Sorry for not being much help  but i'm sure someone will be along in the know
