Crankshaft Position Sensor

hi guys,

does anyone know hwere I can buy one of these sensors from for the 2.7tdi mav? I need a brand new one-I bought a used one and still get the same error code, but I cant find anywhere other than Andrew page that sell them, and ideally I need to get some price comparisions....??

no, they want silly money, was hoping for somewhere else. I also got mine S/H but I got the same fault code, so I suppose I cant be 100% its the actual sensor, but i dont know how to test the wiring, but i am doubtful its the wiring..?

Checked the resistance yet? Checked continuity to the ECU yet?
You only need a screwdriver and a big hammer (for frustration purposes):lol
Oh and a meter thingy...........

tried, but i dont really know what I am doing with the multimeter...

i will get a mechanic to have a look...

yup, had the code, cleared it, went for drive, it came back. and its the only code now,, all others have been fixed by me..
