I've just got code 34 Needle lift sensor , truck's running in limp mode:doh
Is this the same as No1 injector sensor? I only changed it about 6 months back :(
The other code is 43 Accelerator position sensor. I've changed the micro switch but cant get into the throttle position bit of the works without cutting it open?
Any ideas please:rolleyes:

Yep 34 needle lift sensor is one and the same as No1 injector.
But, the ECU diags are not that clever and that fault can easily be the dreaded crank position senor... does it only behave badly when hot?

It is a good plan to clear any fault codes before seeking the true nature of the fault... so clear the codes first and then see what re-occurs.

The code 43 Accelerator position sensor: you can check this, just enable the live sensor data for that puppy... cant remember the exact numbers,
but it should show around .45v ~ 4.8v from zero to max throttle.

If it is wrong then follow the test procedure in the EC section of the manual.

The fact that you have two ostensibly unrelated faults suggests that there could well be a "dodgy connection issue"

CLEAR the FAULT CODES FIRST..... THEN see what re-occurs.

At least you are not having to "probe" everything with a DVM!

Phew, I got the codes to go away in the end :clap
Started up this morning after checking all the leads and connections incase I'd biffed something doing the LPG wiring. All seemed fine, but when it started up the engine was "hunting" at between 1400 rpm and 2000rpm ish :nenau
What's that all about? Anyway, I blipped the throttle a few times and tried pulling up on it too, even switched the Tunit off
No help, so switched it off , cleared codes again and restarted. This time all was fine :D :augie
Went for a blast and got throttle voltages of between .72 and about 4.2 at 4300 rpm, which is nice :thumbs
So I'm off to get some gas :naughty
Laters

if you dont want the tunit, i know to who you could donate it!

Nice try Zips :lol I merely switched it off for a quick check of the system:D
It's switched on again now and performing nicely thanks:cool:
