I had 95 a few weeks ago while down in Bristol on work, turned out the one of the connector blocks that I'd used to piggy back the fuel pump harness for the powerchip was loose, tightened that back up and all was good again

Madmark has also recently had this and I think his new no1 injector resolved this :thumb2

Thanks for the reply when the car went into limp it did not display the management light so is it possible that this is a old code as I haven't checked it for more than two years and also how do you delete codes please cheers

in my list 95 says crank position cog, so guess ckp sensor if it has not failed it may just be bad connection on the plug/socket, Bosch it is three pin connector at rear of inlet manifold Zexel right hand side of all the connectors for pump etc, Rick

Thanks rick with these sensors if it's the sensor itself do they play up or is it a case of just packing up completely. ?

Have you gone for a drive while paper clip is in if not do that and I bet code 34 or 21 comes up

as they are nothing but a coil of wire around a magnet encased in plastic, over time a wire breaks usually joins again when cold only to separate again when hot, if it separates when cold it will not start, going open circuit when hot it usually goes into limp mode, if it just plays around then sounds more like bad connection on the plug or harness problem, I have this very same problem on mine at the mo code said ckp sensor so changed it, but problem persisted then today on idling it started to hunt so popped the bonnet went straight to the plug and as I touched it the hunting stopped, moved it about and it was in out in out with every movement but could not pin it down to the plug or wires at the mo it is jammed in the heater pipes and is running fine, will sort it when I have more time, Rick

Thank you rick do you know how to delete the code and also is the plug one of the three above the fuel pump ? I've got the bosch set up

Right put paper clip back in start engine and go to two mile drive then see what codes come up you'll probably get more than one

Its sounding like maf if in limp mode but no ecu light but after a drive you'll know with paper clip in
