And this is the other side just remove the clevis pin and push the U shaped coupling aside to remove the bush, it is a top hat shaped item you can just see it between the pedal and the coupling, the one I replaced was just a straight bit of hard plastic tube, Rick

Hope you all notice my Jack Russels hairs all over the place, Rick

What gets me is why did Nissan put unpainted steel in all areas behind the dash?

The Clutch pedal being another example.

Save a few pence...

I did buy it from the link and its the wrong one :doh. The link is for a much larger metal bush and not the little Top Hat plastic one unfortunately.

Back to the drawing board then guys, anyone know where we can get a replacement as mine is driving me mad at the moment and feels crap to drive

I saw this fix on Difflock from JAR126 : http://forum.difflock.com/viewtopic.php?p=530707&sid=821c9fd175296a3c9407932c8cfcdf5a

Buy one of these: http://www.diy.com/nav/build/doors-...Ball-Catch-Brass-Plated-9370752?skuId=9671457

Then using a hack saw cut off the lip that holds the ball in, drill through the end with an 8mm drill bit and shorten the body to 5mm. You'll be left with a top-hat type brass bush that replaces the nylon one perfectly.
did u miss this post:thumbs

It fits well - I've had mine in for about 2 years now and it still feels good now.
