plenty on ebay with the looks of the ones in need of restoration i think there will be a fair bit of welding required so if you dont have one i would budget for a welder as well
I too am looking for a project to tinker with after my sabatical as house husband comes to a end cant realy go out and splash the breadwinners cash on something yet:doh

I do wonder If I need to learn welding, I think i will start looking into that as well, perhaps look into welding courses...

If your going for A spitfire then dont expect anything exeptional in handling , in fact dont expect handling , rear ends tend to fall apart as you go along , same with most triumphs from the same era had A 65 vitesse 2L fantastic as A drag machine apart from get to A corner too quick :eek: clean trolly's time :augie
