Spent another morning under the X-Trail finishing off the suspension set up.
Initially I was having trouble undoing the top bolt of the rear shocks, given how tight they were and how little space I had to use a lever.
Managed to whip of the rear shocks off no problem this time round tho with my handy new windy gun!
Unlike the long travel shocks I put on the Patrol, these are the same length as stock. Slightly tougher to compress, but much better built!
While I was under there and I now have my super awesome windy gun, compressing the coils was that much easier, so I whacked on the 30mm spacers.
Now that's all said and done, we have an overall lift of 60mm and including the new tyres, the ground clearance has increased by 90mm! :naughty
Still a little scrubby on lock, but a little more trimming will sort that right out.
Pictures to follow at the weekend... Been looking around for a standard X-Trail to park next to! :lol
