We're disappearing under a huge crop of apples this year :D
So wondered if anyone has any really simple cider recipes :naughty as there's only so much apple sauce, chutney and crumble a man can take :doh
cheers :beer

Peel and slice then freeze them.
OK they will only be fit for apple sauce or fillings etc.

Cider seems a good idea though:beer

Do you store any whole? We wrap them individually in news paper and pack them in large card boxes then kept on a shed shelf. Usually last till May or June. David.

Never that organised mate :doh So we usually bash 'em and freeze 'em, but this year I shall be mainly making cider

Tip for a cider/apple press; 2 ton bottle jacks & some sturdy timber.

or ..... you could get my ex wife to sit on them :lol
