Ok, after taking the rear chrome step off of my truck I felt there was something still missing so I decided to get on of these and fit it
It is from a Mistubishi Warrior and bolts straight on with 4 bolts in about 5 minutes, total cost £20 ebay, £10 petrol to collect
What do you all think? Bargain or what?
I dont think many D22 owners know that the Mitzy rear bars fit so hopefully this will help someone get some cheap BLING
Cheers

Thanks guys, I really wanted something to hide some of the towbar and as my Brother in Law had his rear bar off I decided to see if it would fit and it was spot on, got on the bay and found this one for £20 which was a steal
Thanks again

could have hidden the tow bracket behind a chromed pintle, yep seen one years ago
on a hand rebuilt light weight landy, which was deth by chrome!

seriously sniffer looks good, and still not as cumbersome as the old step bumper, yet rear
protected.

dumb question

do these blocks of leds make as much light as say a regular 55w bulb/lamp in
a reversing or work lamp situation then. thinking as load is less wiring can be
lighter. appreciate that some of theses led beacons on recovery wagons
seem to blind you by the flash pretty well but are they up there when an
area needs flooding by light. ultimatly could they be used as auxilary forward
spot (roof) lights.

To tell you the truth, I wouldn't say so but they give out what I can only say is a different sort of light, ours lights up street signs but they don't light up the bonnet when they are flashing

Heres a pic of them with the outside wall light shining against them.

so dont throw away the spot lights yet, but better than built in reverse lights, thinking
sniffer said used to set up camp. guess bright but dont project as far then.

Sounds about right, I would say they are very visible from a long distance but it certainly is a different light, mine have a sort of reflector on them which does give enough of a beam for reversing but I dont think this would be enough for night laning, thats why I went for the Hellas
I tried to take some piccies in the dark but the phone camera really didnt work very well, I'll try again with the proper camera and post them up if successful
Cheers
