Central locking

hi im new hear. i have a terrano 2.7i 0n a 2002 plate. the problem is the Central locking keeps looking all the time ,even witout pressing anything. could i just take fuse out . so i could turn it off? if so were do i find fuses? many thanks for any help.

try under bonnet for fuses or to right of stearing wheel.

sounds like you got a bad conection.

try taking battery out of remote too..

Hi Hunter and welcome as the flowers in spring (if it ever comes)

I had the same problems with my 02 plate from the time I picked it up last year.
Went round ALL door locks and squirted WD40 via the little red tube into EVERY keyhole , any orifices near door locks any slits near locks. Gave each door lock area a real good blasting and then went round again for good measure.
Result ; after thoroughly excercising all handles and locks with remote and manual switches, all is well and has been for last year or so. Hope my luck holds out. Wishing you well.:thumbs

oil locks. unpluged relay.also unpluged swich on drivers door. and still doors keep loocking on there own.need too fix this. help please

do you still have the standard alarm? had a alarm fitted to my lancia integrale which lock the doors with out touching anything to stop the robbin sods getting in? mine still run off the original alarm! if still have original alarm would say its a connection someware!

its a ex police terrano. i think it has nissan alarm. could i not just take out a fuse? if so were?

on my lancia it had a seperate feed to the alarm which auto locked the doors!!! when fitted they would not even let me know ware the feed came from!! only way to dissable was to use the key fob and press the buttons a certain of times!!!! you may have this sort of thing fitted to your truck!!!! being a ex police truck!!! dont take my word for it mind..only saying what i had fitted to mine! no dout their be some 1 or 2 or 3 or more chaps on hear have some other ideas:thumbs you get the blue lights and siren with your truck now that be some fun:sly
