hello all, a couple of days ago the central locking in my nissan terrano 2.7 td started playing up and locking itself just after I unlock it (sometimes the hazard lights start flashing also). The only way to stop this is to put the key in the ignition. I recently disconnected and reconnected the battery and thought it might relate to that. Does anyone have any ideas what the issue might be and how to fix it? Thanks,Rob S

Hi Rob I have had this at odd times and was due to one door not shutting properly which seems to effect the electrics into thinking the door is open, I cannot check this on the Mrs motor as it is a 2002 and different, but when Pete comes into the yard next I will try and replicate it on his, Rick
Ok, thanks for the reply. Been a bit of a nightmare, had to call the rac yesterday after it locked me out with the engine running while I was opening the gate to the woods I work in (its not even halloween yet..). Doors are all shutting properly so looks like a nuisance electrical fault that I wouldnt know where to start with..
