Hi All

My T2 currently does not have a CD changer. I was thinking of buying a new one from ebay.

If I were to buy the CD changer unit, would it be compatible with my current Nissan radio? Also is the CD changer pre wired so that all i need to do is connect it up under the seat or will i need to thumb about with leads to get it where i want.

Thanks in anticipation.

UM NO.. i couldn't fine ANY that would work with nissan head unit.

in the end i got on from aldi . cd / mp3. usb and aux in. was very simple to fit. just needs an arial adaptor

you could chanve it all head and cdchanger and all the wireing, ask at your local sextans or car audio place

tbh, as per zippy656, i would add a multi function head.

from about 40 quid you can get a cd player that can handle
cdr/rw discs with mp3 tracks, a usb socket for an mp3 player
or memory stick loaded with mp3 tracks, an sd memory card
slot, again loaded with advantage that doesnt hang off unit
and almost like having a built in juke box, my 2gb sd card has
440+ tracks ready to rock. think 447 is its max for logic unit
but could have another cd with say 100 tracks/ 10 albums
in the player. This limit may not relate to other head units.

Personally prefer to keep my precious cds at home having
spent few minutes ripping them to the pc with Real Player, a
free download, mp3 tracks can then be copied and pasted
it really is that straight forward, after all you've got the PC...

Thats very true, my kids do it. I never know what im going to hear when I chanve to card.

its very easy to fit, i did it.

bloody hell, i've been zipped, there like a plauge of ZIPPIES, :doh:doh:doh

Thanks for all the replies. I am really looking for a used Nissan CD changer that is compatible with the head unit. I seen one bidding on ebay for £20.

Out of interest, any of you who have taken out the original head unit and replaced for another - what happened to the hazard lights button??? Mine is incorporated into the head unit surround.

Regards
