cb fitment in patrol

My trol y60 has the factory radio with cd player underneath. I cant see how u would remove these as i have a almost new cd unit with usb port ect that i would like to fit. Has anyone done this before?. im thinking of getting a cb radio that i would like to fit undr new cd player at later date would i encounter ant problens with this as i want a factory look if possible. Thanx guys

no experience of the patrol , but once you have decided where ( and how ) you are going to fit it into your dash / console . the only problems i can envisage is routing of coax /power leads , an air circulation ., also where you gonna hang the mike .

Cheers Briggie, i dont think air circ will be a problem as i used to have a cb in radio slot when driving skip lorries but i am trying to figure out how to fit single din sterio and cb into a double din slot....Are there facia plates available for this or will i need to make one

personally i wouldnt place your stereo and cb in the same slot . ie one on top of the other

yeah ive had my doudts cus of interferance, it was for asthetics really cus wanted to avoid drilling holes in top of my nice dash lol. Ill figure something out, ive got to get a rig first:lol
