if you have a sun roof , just use a mag mount

Mag mounts just do not work for me, Hertfordshire lanes are very narrow and mostly overgrown, I have wrenched the roof mount off a couple of times n low branches.

i have a mini stinger, on a mag, ideal for 4x convoy work.

tbh waste of time otherwise due to idiots so is stored rest of time.

bring wire in via rear door seal.

No set house yet, but drive and garage is on the list.

Only problem being it wont fit in the garage anyway :doh

Not a bad idea, perhaps a shelter on the front of garage :thumb2

My mag mount kept falling off so I found a handy bracket at work adapted it slightly and bolted it to the back door

Thing is the Patrol is so well built when I did the Trooper undid the headlining at the back and you had access to the whole roof but the Patrol is double skinned and has padding in there so could only put the aerial close to the back.
