I would check your air box because I found I had a large hole at the bottom of mine (looks like a drain hole) which i'm yet to find a gromet big enough to seal the hole up

The turbo would easily suck that into the filter

Its smaller than I tought and I would be concerned about the rain running up the windscreen at speed.

BUT I like it. (in principle) It will be less vunerable than a snorkel from trees which I like. Just make sure the water trap/bleed works and If done well I think it could be a good Mod.

Could you not Sikaflex a plate on to it?

from what i can make out it seems the lad fitted a Navarra tuba (french for snorkel!) to his T2 with a bit of modification....you can translate chunks of it by selecting Language Tools on the Google search page, then cut and paste chunks of text into the 'translate' box.

some interesting pics though in that thread....

better change your moniker to Monsieur Zippee then...

these froggies do like their 4x4s though....i have a gaff in the southwest, about 20 miles from the Pyrenees and the offroad driving you can, I assure you, only dream about....combine that with the madness they have for the outdoors and Saturday morning on the A62 is like something out of Mad Max as they head for the mountains...and of course lots of T2s there as they are only made down the road.
