Hi. Can anyone tell me type of bushing that sits between the lower wishbone and chassis. Actually sits on on a bracket on the chassis. And do I need a press to fit a new one.

Sounds like comp rod bushes. No press needed for them but be prepared for possible hole elongation or corrosion where the rod goes through the bracket/chassis.
Also worth spraying plenty of WD40 or similar on your nuts for easy release :lol
Good luck.

Yes that's the one. Soon as I order part I will have a look. If needing attention I will get that putty stuff and remould it so it all looks good for mot. I've used that stuff before and it's good. Ab weld

bush

hi it is worth ordering the wahers as well.
My chassis point was elongated but the old washers were good so i used the old washers to weld to the chassis

loads of WD 40 and a long swing bar

paulp

I read that as long socket bar for leverage undoing said nuts that you have just soaked in wd40

Ahh ok. Milner does them. £10. £5pp. £4vat. Trying to get them cheaper.
