Bush dimensions

Tomorrow I go look at a 51 plate to but the clutch peddle does not always come back up

has anybody the dimensions so I can make a brass bush at work tomorrow as I will need to fix it ASAP.

the ones that criag made were 10.5 mm outside diameter
8 mm internal diameter
and 10 mm long

I got a some spare plastic ones here which I got from Nissan dealers and a digital calliper . the sizes I am getting is 14.6mm on the outside 12.7mm inside and length is 15mm and on the length theirs a collar which is 1.5mm thick and is 3mm higher than the outside measurement

will this stop the clutch peddle sticking?

If its sticking, bleed the clutch at the master cylinder

its a car i was going to look at tomorrow. i have not bought it as yet and im a little reluctant to tbh more so now something needs bleading:augie.. 51 plate 6 months tax 12 months mot 100k on clock £1k


but i want a terrano .

maybe ill just keep saving as i was not wanting another car until october its just this one popped up

Bleeding the clutch is only a couple of seconds :thumbs

Somebody sits inside to press / depress the clutch whilst you undo / do up the nipple on the cylinder :thumbs

Cant be put off by such small glitches at that price for the year of it :nenau

yes it does stop it from returning when they break up .

I had it all in one, master, slave, hose, and bush in pedal, still just gave the non return symptom :lol

Yeah the bush fixed mine Larson. Even if it needed bleeding or a cylinder or flexi pipe at that price with a full mot you can't go wrong.

Open the bonnet and drivers side you will see a white plastic reservoir, that's the master cylinder. If you get on the floor and look under drivers door you will see a hose with another cylinder that's the slave :thumb2

I made mine out of a speed fit plastic pipe insert :thumb2
