thanks for that but were do i fit the brass bush?

Get on the footwell of the drivers floor, seat al the way back with a torch (even in bright day light)

Follow the pedal up. Look for an R clip, pull out the clip and the bush is able to slip out at which point the 2 bits held together are able to come apart, grease the new bush and put in, put the clip back In and hey presto.

It's easy, even I managed it :thumb2

No probs, if you can picture it, the bush lets two arms pivot on it, once you remove the bush they are no longer connected (not saying it will fall apart) they may seperate slightly though, it's more fiddly than technical :thumb2
