While I remember.... This is where I put my CB.

This is on a steering column bracket.

That looks like something even I could do.. Think I'll wait till I get the front bumper sorted though as I want to bung the antenna on the bracket thingy on the bullbar.

Nice one Brian, Maxtrax get a good right up from the Aussies :thumbs... now where do I find me some cheap ones!

Jay, do you have all your controls on the handset then?

Finally got round to updating the firmware on the Pioneer SPH-120DA head unit (giggity), and solving the Bluetooth audio problem. It was nothing to do with the firmware, I had to disconnect my iPod to allow the Bluetooth to work.

So instead of an iPod for stored music I'm now using a 128GB USB stick formatted to FAT32 (You have to use a separate app from Windows disk management to do that on higher than 4GB capacity USB sticks - MiniTool Partition Wizard works great, and it's free!)

Also for the sake of compatibility I converted all my audio to MP3 using Fre:AC Audio Converter (also free) which converts pretty much everything audio, and will do it for as many files as you want.

Head unit (giggity) is now working the way I want it to! Nothing else to report, it's work work work at the moment. Haven't had a day off, or a beer in a couple of weeks, so in lieu of any truck pics, here's a picture of a zombie bunny eating my brain...

How are you getting on with the recovery boards?

I've been looking at them and I think it looks like you made a good choice taking everything into account.

Just slightly worried about the length of them or I don't know if your picture is just deceiving.

If the boards were up against and lined up against the back door would they stick up above the roof?

Thanks

Put it this way, they are in the back of the car now - rear passenger footwell - and there is about 5" to spare with them pushed up against the far door.

Hope this helps.

So is that width ways?

Have you needed to use them yet?

Yes, width ways. Haven't had to use them yet, with those tractor tyres on its a bit hard to get stuck!

That's tree-mendious work Brian. :D
I mean, you had to move it. You couldn't leaf it there:hide:

Groan.... I think it should be called "the day I took a Heavy Plant for a walk"...

By the way, where and what is that wonderful castle?
