How do the trolls handle on the road without the anti roll bars? I do a lot of to/from work etc.

As both Jay and I have said bud, we find it better than factory setup ie. with anti roll bars but its horses for courses, some prefer to leave the front anti roll bar on and just remove the rear.

Never had a problem with MOT. My understanding is there is an exception for parts not being present if the vehicle is clearly modified for a purpose, removal of the arbs is a modification for offroading and if your running a lift/ winch bumper etc then its obvious that the vehicle is modified for a purpose :nenau You need to unbolt everything associated with the arbs though, so all that's left is the mounting holes.

It's just another mod for insurance purposes.

Agreed, even standard setup seems better without.
I've had mine completely removed for three years now. No issues whatsoever.
Driven the Alps fully loaded with rooftent.
That's running on tired stock suspension and standard shocks.
An upgrade is due very soon though!

Nice list of boxes ticked...

• Front diff seals and bearings.
• New brake disks and pads all round.
• New brake protector thingys all round - the metal plate thingy behind the brakes.
• New rear right caliper.
• New power steering belt and tensioner bearing thingy.
• New air filter. - K&N.
• Snorkel (Or as the bloke at the garage kept calling it - a snookel!)
• Pedders 2" long travel lift kit fitted!

With around 15 years of suspension sag, I think the overall lift is over three inches, and the ride is so much smoother - the old shocks must have been well over their bin by date. Also I can see my house from the extra high driving seat!

Things to do next..
1. Bin the anti roll bars! What tools will I need for that?
2. Enjoy the truck, and save more money up for the next stage of planed upgrades!
