Bubbling Dash GU IV 2007

Hi ya fellow Nissan owners
have any of you patrol IV Owners got any problems with there dashes at all.
Mine has developed loads of little raised lumps just like measles :doh

Gues what Nissan Uk have no record of the problem at all how ever there
is loads of cases on the Patrol Forum I just need to find a UK case that
got sorted buy Nissan

Jus a wild giess but, I recall seeing "dash protectors" in Australia, South Africa & other sunny climates. I presume they could be there to prevent the problem you are describing. So while it may not (yet) be a problem in Northern Europe.......

Dash bubbles

Having lived in Africa I am aware that some vehicles imported from Europe develop similar problems.The plastic mouldings can also become deformed and warped.Materials in some EU vehicles are not designed to take the high temperatures found in Africa and elsewhere.
I experienced this when a mate purchased plastic windows made in the UK for his home only to find that they completely changed shape during the first summer!

just a idea ....

my car is a import ... and just before the windscreen was replaced it had a sunscreen type thingie ( technical term :lol ) running along the bottom of the windscreen.... i wonder if it was for this problem ? :nenau
