sally is all fixed up now , thanks to rick , just a few things to tighten and check in the morning .... then im off home ... bluddie long drive , rick and maggs have been great , caravan nice ,warm and comfy ....couldnt ask for more ... so all being well i will be going home tomorrow morning

took a few piccies of the work , but internet connection is fairly slow here , plus i had no idea what part/process i was taking photos of lol..... will post them when i get home perhaps , or maybe sunday :thumb2

well im back home ,was a great drive back ..... long and stressfull at times due to volume of traffic and a accident ( not me ) , sally didnt falter one bit , had to stop a couple of times for a rest , but still got home in about 6 hours , so not bad at all ..... all this was thanks to rick and maggs :thumb2, without whos help i would have been stuck on the south coast , many many thanks to you both for your hospitallity and help :clap:clap:clap

Glad you got back safe, but I have to say I do not want to do another T2 gearbox, admittedly Swifty was not about and he is a lot younger than me and has small strong hands, my hands would just not go in the places you needed, made it really hard work, any way it is sorted now, happy motoring mate, see you when you next arrive, Rick

I've put the results of the test in my clutch thread, and if tomorrow's clutch change goes 'tits up' I will be down, Karin will just have to wait :augie
