I would advise not stretching the filler pipes as indicated by someone above but cutting them and putting in some steel or alloy pipe to extend and a couple of jubilee clips to tighten it all up.

For 50mm it's fine with just a slacking of the clips and then resettle the hose and tighten up again. 65mm will be your advice of an insert :thumb2
Xpajun kit works a treat, correct size and thread bolts.
He also gave me a stonking deal to try out his basic kit on my Trol. It worked, so now he's a happy bunny as he can sell the same kit for 10 pounds more to Trol owners :lol

bolox:doh ahh well:rolleyes:

can you make me a winch bumper then sometime? :augie
If you want the same as my T2 then it's cheaper to get one from handy Andy :D
He's got the templates etc and 190 quid I think inc powder coat :thumbs

if he doesn't send me one, i'll get my money back.still got all his bank details

You can't get your money back unless you payed by credit card.

I'm going to get slated big style for asking this as it's probably been asked loads of times before but whats the biggest lift I can do without having to modify the transfer lever and bumpers etc?

I think any lift means you have to do the bumpers, or put up with a gap between the bumpers and the surrounding trim. Then it is down to what you are like for that sort of thing, Me, I am OCD, and need it just right:lol

As for the transfer lever, it seems to be open to interpretation, age of car, and which Japanese man built your one. So far, it seems to be only an inch, but to me that hardly seems worth the effort of doing.

You sound like the older version of me lol

How do you overcome the gap?

That is the bit I am struggling with, it looks like you have to re-fabricate the bumper hangers.

The thing si, you have to take the bumpers off to do the lift anyway, and then you have to mod them to re-fit them, so you may as well go the full 2" that you can do with minimum work.

So far, I can not actually find any pictures of what you have to do to the bumpers though.

fort he rear bumper i just welded it on top of the chassis, i think with just a 2" lift though you would nee to trim some away before it would fit as for the front either make up an extender to move the fixing point up or again just weld in place.

Have you tried exosteve? He did a 2" body lift and modded the bumpers.
