Hi ... first post so be gentle!!
I have joined a few weeks after buying a t2 ... to replace a Fr*****der ... and i started to investigate green laning posts to get an idea of what is required & where i can do it!

i looked at bucks CC website & found that they show byways ... but i was a little confused about the markings used so i emailed the council. Got a quick reply saying they would direct my query to the appropriate dept. Next day got a detailed reply from the Rights of Way dept.

I am now in posession of a detailed list of BOATS in Bucks ( i live in Milton Keynes ... )incl maps & grid references!!!
RESULT!!
I then used BING maps to locate the areas where the BOATS start & finish ... and i have found that some of the BOATS are so short as to be ignored ... and some link up nicely such that they are potentially many KM of worthwhile adventuring!
Oh and the ROW people told me that two of the ( better!) BOATS are closed as of Mid November via a TRO , for 6 months of the year!
Can someone Senior PM me and perhaps let me know the best way to upload the info as a Sticky??
And then could any 'Locals' share info / feedback regarding trails that have been blazed by them ...
Apparently the three Byways i originally enquired about are not on the Bucks CC list.
I queried this and it was suggested that these may be under the control of Milton keynes Council ... so i'll try them when i have time!
PS I'd appreciate contact via pM from any Milton Keynes members !!
cheers
Dave

Result.......If you get an OS map they are indicated on there as well, thats how we find most of them in Derbyshire.
