What would look great is having the bonnet colour coded to be identical to the front wings, doors side panels and roof.

Imagine a few drops of diesel on the paint, there will be semi gloss spots all over.
If you customise a car so that it is unique, then I hope you park it in a garage, as some toe rag that holds a grudge will one day recognise it and follow you home.
So you had better be careful when you give inappropriate hand signals, or cut some one up.
