Matte black... If you really have to.

The Camel 4X4's used to spray their bonnets matte black, as it helps with the dazzling reflections you get off the bonnet when you have roof mounted lights.

Knowledge is a wonderful thing. (It's a shame I haven't got much)

I voted for the matt black, but that matt military green (all over), is very stealth when you're out wild camping. :thumb2

I can't vote... sorry, I think the same as Clivvy, it will look like you have pranged it, and bodged the repair...

Maybe do like the Lupo, and have a different colour on every panel..:doh

My bother had a MR2 with a black bonnet on a blue car... it also started out life blue, but his had a small engine fire and changed the colour... The black bonnet still looked naff on a sports car...:lol

Ahh well, it'll be a bloody boring planet if we all liked the same things :lol, I appreciate its not everyones cup of tea....or coffee

true, that is why I prefer the term "personalising" rather than "customising" a car.

Just bolted the bonet back onto my truck as I ain't doing it black just now, going to mod in different ways as I might be pushing the boundaries just now after I had a look, after I've bolted on some other parts I'll see what it looks like. I'm still modding the grill tho! :D

Why not go the whole hog and paint it all satin black witha black wheels that stuff i mentioned dont need a laquer

I did ours last year all satin black, I think it looks cool also hides the rust on the front wings better. also easier to match after I treat the wings (again) :thumb2:thumb2
