I'm quite surprised by the number of fellow bike fans here. Here's my favourite but she's just been tucked up warm for the winter.

Nice looked for one before I bought the Triumph. Couldn't find one for love nor money that hadn't been trashed or gone too the moon and back. :thumb2:thumb2.

If we're showing our bikes.... I had one of these until it was nicked. :(

Great bit of fun.

I have been very lucky in not losing one yet but I can imagine how I'd feel if I did

I've thought about a cheap GPS tracker just in case. I'm sure that any thief would disable it fairly quickly but it might just give me a couple of hours to find it. GPS/GPRS trackers that text their location to you can be had for £20 or so these days.

Thinking about it, I might just fit one to my teenage daughter... :lol

I have done a good thing or a bad thing and I can't decide ?
I have been toying with the idea of getting a bike for a few years now.Nothing too big as I haven't redden one for 35 years, so just something to start me off again. any way Today I took this in payment for re wiring a barn. It is a 125 cc Gilera Coguer 2002 7000 miles literally one lady owner from Jersey,so it hasent been hammered up the motorway .
It's in pretty good shape apart from a bit of pitting on the Chrome and the speed o doesn't work. any way is it worth my 30 hours labor. remember it hasn't actually cost me anything just my time.?

FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE!!!

I rode this bike for several months same colour and everything!! :thumb2

As long as you keep it running and dont let it sit too long it should be ok. Spares are a tricky thing, you might have to "makeitfit"

A great handling bike for a "chopper" too. very cheap on fuel and did 78mph if i remember right... something outrageous like that! :D

I am going to change the oil and set the valve clearance this weekend but in the hand book it says the oil should be 20-50 but I cant find this any where,I don't know if they still do it here, what would be the next best option 15-40 ?it also says synthetic is best but you cant get that until you get down to 10-40 ?
It's a four stroke Honda engine the same as in the XL125

a point to note - Be sure to use motorcycle oil as car oil has additional additives that cause the clutch to slip.... you can guess how I know that !!!! :augie
