Mav 10 mins with karcher all be well again,as they say youve lost youre cherry now

It takes quite a bit longer than 10mins for a Patrol. You wouldn't believe the places that mud can get. On top of the exhaust. On top of the chassis rails. Lots of nooks & crannies in and around the rear bumper where the Karcher lance won't really fit. Don't forget the tops of skidplates or the engine bay either ........ 8O

Which reminds me ......... now, what was I going to do this morning, now that I've had breakfast :?: Oh yes, where did I put the Karcher :?:

Cheers
Andrew

Just finished washing the Patrol - and collecting the decent size bucket full of Derbyshire that the Karcher deposited on the road outside my house (I don't wash it on the drive or I'd fill the garage up with Derbyshire!!). It took exactly two hours. 8O

Cheers

Good day had by all, not washed my wagon yet! Lost use of the outside tap a couple of months ago so rely on rainfall to clean mine at the moment!

20mins local car wash 100yds from house ,Karcher now got cobwebs on.

Well what can I say that hasnt already been said "bananas"

Thank you Andy for a great route and all the effort that went into sunday.

(although it should of said "right" out of the car park   )

What a cracking turn out for the club we should all be proud.

I had a fantastic time and the night lanes were great for my first time. Pindale looks very strange going up it in the dark and as for Roych clough "the steps" I am still smiling for going up it first go, in the dark 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) .

I have no photos you'll be glad to hear as I think you have had enough of mine now!!

Whats this washing thingy thats being talked about, :?: mine now looks like it should look and not like a school bus, unlike other 4x4s around here.

I'm not that bothered about making it look clean - more about getting the mud off all the places underneath where it would otherwise promote an attack of the tin-worm. It might never dry if you don't get it off. As far as I know, the only way to do that is to grovel about on your hands and knees with a Karcher lance or a low pressure hose. I've been experimenting with an oscillating lawn sprinkler underneath the car, but it's not that great.

Simple really, I can either have a Patrol that lasts 10 years or so if I don't wash it underneath after I go laning - or one that lasts 40 years if I do. I choose 40 years.

Cheers

I think the muck under mine is the only thing keeping it together

Joking apart (before it falls apart) it'll get cleaned next weekend after I've shown my gaffer what his jeep should look like.

It'll be a week or two I guess before mine is working. I'm waiting for a reply to an Email I sent to Jim at Communication Eleven about it. Ho hum .... why is nothing ever straightforward?

Cheers
