Do I need the aluminium undertray?

Its from a 2004 lwb and I took it off a couple of years ago and never got around to refitting.

Currently it is just learn ng against the garage wall. If I don't need to refit it I have a use for elsewhere.

Unfortunatley not until tomorrow.

Its an aluminium plate that runs from the front of the car, just below the rad to just past the gearbox. I sure it has some cut outs for bits and pieces and its about 5mm thick.

Probably after market, get as many as you can and ship them to UK :lol we don't have them over here

It's a bash guard, If you drive off road then put it back on bud, if you're sure you're never going to drive off road then chop away!

I thought he was on about the sump guard at the front, re-reading, this seems to be some other sort of undertray that I haven't heard of or seen before, can we see some pictures?

Makeitfit's got one, Think made by AFN? Probably other makes out there.

This is a 3/4 length tray that fits to the from sump tray.

I'll be pulling it out later and take some photos.

From what can see now and what I remember its quite engineered

Its almost the same as the link above. But its from a 2,8 2004 manual lwb.

Now the thing I'm going to make from it I can buy for £47. So if anyone wants this for £47 they are welcome.

So it is 1.4m long x 0.5m wide and is 3.5mm thick. Its non magnetic and weighs in at just under 6kg

The problem being this is in Galicia. But I'm happy to hold on to it ( no time problem, ittl just lean against the garage wall ) if anybody fancy visiting or I could bring it to Essex on one of my very INFREQUENT visits to blighty, or you can arrange your own courier.

I've struggled a bit to find a courier as its over 1.2m long. But it I've not done an exhaustive search.

Sahara want over €300 for their plate inc delivery. So mine is an absolute bargain!!! ( maybe )

I don't need to start my project for a week or 2 so there's no immediate rush.
