Very nice indeed, let us know where you got the trailer from, not a bad price that, all inclusive.

I like the red light relection on the wing and bonnet, very Harry Potter lol :thumb

Got the trailer from Poulter Trailer Hire in Kenilworth, nice bunch of lads, it's actually a side venture by the looks of it that a lad is running out of the garage he owns called Crackley Garage.

I was thinking of getting it made in Vinyl Decals

It's nowhere near the standard of yours uncle

Had a play with the new truck tonight after work..............

Had a play with the new truck tonight after work..............

If I had the inclination, I would definitly have a go at sorting that one, especially with the knowledge that I have gained over the years about these trucks.

What would I spend on it?
Labour... for the love of it... chance to make a good return.:thumb2
Parts... to the maximum I could get for it if I was to break it.

No brainer, nice little earner.:thumb2

And and and? Is she a keeper? :clap

Possibly :D

I got changed last night into my scruffs and started to pull tools out etc, I grabbed the 3 litre battery and managed to bodge it in place by spinning it round and tipping it forward.

Jumped in and turned the key, dash lights all lit up, left it for a little bit, heard the click of the glow plug relay, turned the key again and after about 5 revolutions of the engine it sputtered into life :D :D :D it coughed twice and sat there idling like a dream

My phone died after I took that video otherwise I would have done one of me ragging it around the fields at work in 4 low :sly

So yeah everything works on it apart from the electric windows!!!!! Oh and the window wipers actually make things worse [emoji38]

Still haven't done a visual inspection of all the problem areas yet but that's next on the list

Good start

More good news....

So I stole a few minutes today at break time and had a look at the Terrano again and just wanted to check a few more of the problem areas that are prone to the dreaded tin worm and the initial prognosis is that it's a damn solid truck apart from the drivers side wing and the sills.

Is there anyone with a template for some new sills and does anyone fancy an earner to knock me some up?

Here's some pics I managed to snap;

Rear boot floor

Rear belt anchor points complete and intact with sound deadening :naughty

Minimal rusting of the bumper reenforcer and solid looking front crossmember too

No holes or crusty bits here either :clap

All of the body mounts look good, checked the 4 corner ones, not been able to check the centre ones yet as I was in shirt and tie :doh

Chassis and body don't have any holes underneath that I can see so far.

Looks good rot wise really for the age, Rad mount looks nice, Front arches look nice. Good find :)

Shout out to Bat for posting the advert and a pat on the back to myself for pitting everyone else to the post and getting my arse into gear getting a trailer and fetching it :thumbs

That looks great, engine sounds sweet, epic engine the 2.7 and no cat on that one so nice and powerful.

I've read before, but on that style on Terrano or that style on Maveric, not sure which one now, but they did a MUCH better job of rust proofing compared to the newer trucks?

That looks a sweet truck matey. I have to ask what you gonna do with so many trucks lol.

Nobody else got the chance to see it lol, he removed it as soon as I'd been in touch to say thanks.

I sprung into action 4 mins after it went up :sly

I think when Ford took on the Maverick, it was their first car to have a 3 year warranty, so I think the Ford spec was probably higher than the Nissan spec of the time.

Speaking with 22 years of experience, I think Ford made a good decision.

That being said, all TDi Mavericks came with Zexel Pump and a Hitachi MAF which I wouldn't have again from past experience, Bosch is a way stronger pump.

You put two terranos side by side, same year etc etc but have one Bosch and one Zexel and I promise you the Bosch would get away quicker!!!
