Banshee's Breaker 'aint a breaker!!!!!!!!

Right, as some of you may already know, I have purchased "Zephyr's" truck or Toshi as some of you may know him.

It was surplus to requirements and has ran out of MOT, I finally drove down to London on Saturday evening and collected it on a trailer.

After dragging it back, I only got a chance to have a look at it properly yesterday evening as I had to be up super early to return the trailer back to the hire company then straight back out again for the rest of the day taking my grandparents to work as it was an open day and they were super excited to see some of the old Astons :naughty

When I did get chance to look at it, I was a little shocked to see that underneath, it was a bloody solid truck and apart from attention needed to the wings and a suspected faulty ABS sensor

I think I may have to tart this one up and move it on as a runner, as many of you know, 80% of Terrano's for sale are usually rotten as a pear so when you do find a good one, It's hard to condemn it.

Glad it’s been kept on the road, looks nice.

I’ve just been out in my 3litre and I’m quite sad to be moving it on via PX cos it’ll probably go to breakers via auction and it’s such a shame such a clean car will be gobbled up by uncaring breakers.

nice trailer, looks like you put more regular sized tyres on yours for the tugging.

looking like with the diff issues am jumping brands for now, have eye on a jeep
grand cherokee. Not sure what will be offered, if any as px on the 3L though...

Yeah I had to put the Patrol tyres on after having issues with suspension geometry issues that had balded one of the 35's out really badly on the outer edge. They didn't have much meat on when I brought them and were only ever to go out on a few times to see how much more cutting I need to do before buying another set so I didn't rip them up

I'm not entirely sure if I'm going to be sticking with 35's to be honest as they are very very big and it's quite tiring to use as my daily doing 40 miles a day to work and back.

You'll end up back with another one and I can bet it wont be as clean as the 3 litre you have now!!! I gave that one the Banshee seal of approval at the Rustic Roadtrip :thumb2

I remember it well mate and yes still a clean truck, ready for a quick scrub and waxoyl before winter but I’m not fit enough for that anymore. Had to get my son to help me change a wheel yesterday as I can’t even lift a flippin wheel.
If anyone wants the truck for px value 2k just pm me.

Looking forward to a nice T6 and with a bit of luck it’ll be a DSG, found a nice friendly VW dealer close by.

Well if it wasn't for the chassis issues on pathfinders would stay nissan. Could go patrol but still bigger than we need.

Said to Mrs can see if ever have an issue would get another late terrano. Sadly its not the 3L that is issue indeed its great. Rot and other weaknesses showing their age.

If that's the case it will be up on eBay as a runner soon enough so I'll be on the hunt for another breaker as I still need LOADSSSSS of spars to make Terrance nice again.

Chances are it's the cable on the passenger side not the sensor.
Had to replace it on both of my terranos with ABS.
I'm still undecided what to do with my collection :nenau
