Got a couple of little jobs to do on the terrano.
Replace the rear drop links and change the pollen filter on the air con.
If the weather holds off I will do a bit more work on the mrs's horse trailer.
Then Tuesday we are off camping for 4 nights in onecote near leek in Staffordshire.

I am going to clear out the garage and do a run to the tip, then start packing the house up as moving next month. Looks like its going to rain anyway lol

wait on 6pm cos then my daughter goes to her daddy's & I can play with my terrano & somehow figure out how to get tho torsion bars off :doh

Oh pants need a marker too

Offroading round Brechfa and some Swansea lanes on my to my sister's soiree

"Pay" , :nenau I've heard of that but though it was an old union lie
I have to make my own money :thumb2 Keeps it real :naughty

Was self employed for 7 years as a bricklayer, got really bad for work in the early 90's so took job at the local waterboard, have not looked back since, 23 years of good pay, 28 days payed hoiliday + bank hoilidays. Sick pay (not that I have used it much) my own van, all clothing, apart from underpants :augie
and I get a pay rise every year.
Do I miss being self employed...DO I F>>K :lol

BH weekend

Well her indoors is working a double shift every day for 5 days at the local hotel on reception due to holiday cover and staff shortages.

I am doing a bit of housework to do my domestic share then for leisure I have a few small jobs on the recently purchased Santa Fe to break up the monotony.

If the rain keeps away I might do spot of loafing in the garden with a beer for assistance !

What the ef are you doing up a ladder to paint a ceiling, I do it from the floor with a long extending handle, not dear and definitely cheaper than bruises, I only use a ladder for cutting in around the edges then you can lean on the wall, Rick

Been to Cheshire and North Wales.Back home safe and sound.

how is the boat lift, first saw it when it was derelict, then later when it first re-opened and used it several times after, last time was over 5 years ago, fond memories, Rick

Spent Saturday evening wrestling mackerel off the resident seal at Mackerel Rock (Anglesey)
I usually dread these places on bank holiday weekends because of the crowds, unbelievably there were only a couple of others there.
250lb seal on the end puts a bend in the rod!!

On standby with my job, still, double bubble and a day off in lieu :augie

I wish! 11.5 hours in work yesterday and as I'm in Scotland, no bank holiday today. Added to that I don't get anything more than standard normal hours back for yesterday and the weather has actually been nice, warm and dry for the past couple of days! :(

Ah well, hope everyone who's off today has a good one!

It's not my normal week for standby, I had to change as next week we are heading to Scotlandshire for a family wedding,.
Will be heading to Aboyne in Aberdeenshire and Terry has lead roll as the wedding car, so it will need a good clean after 580 miles.
Not been up to there for at least 10 years, so looking forward to it.
