Hi all, I’ve been wondering if there is a way of modifying the wiring for the CD Multi Player attached to the standard nissan head unit to create a Aux Input so that I can play music from my phone. No I hear people saying just change your head unit which of course is a common sense way of doing this. However, firstly I’m skint but also I’d actually like to do it for my own satisfaction.

Th see used to be a plug in device,
Sent a very week radio signal to the head unit , this was way back in the 80s no idea if still about.

You still get them but the quality isn't anywhere like a proper aux input...

Trying to avoid the FM radio transmitters as the FM band seems chocker around here so get loads of interference.
I was thinking about tapping into the audio cables between the meain radio and multiplayer. Wondering if they are the same audio levels as Aux inputs.

Cheers
