auto hubs

Hi
go to the downloads section, and all the information you need is there. if the mav has been driven in 4 wheel drive on tarmac or any other solid surface chances are the pins inthe hubs are broken. once replaced 4 wheel drive will be back.
Hope this helps Wayne

hubs

bit of a mystery as to why someone would remove the bits from inside there. not really sure what to advise now. but im sure someone on here will come up with the help you need. theyre a good lot!

freewheel hubs

you ought to have been me when i got stuck and then discovered the bits missing lol

People remove the brake ring when they have problems with the hub's. If you search the other threads we have had this subject many times before. Some people prefer to replace the brake rings for about £40 per side and some people prefer to replace the whole hub with a manual locking hub that cost about £55 each (go to milners off road web site for current price). I fitted manuals and haven't looked back. Either way working on the hubs you don't even have to jack the car up.
