I have a bizarre problem in that Google thinks my computer is in the USA and it's getting frustrating.
If I put any search term into Google I automatically get US companies first.
Amazon sends me to .com and not .co.uk, Ebay the same and a restaurant name will list the US options first etc...
even Nissan 4x4 forum was sending me towards this http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/53-nissan/!!!!???¿¿¿!·####**+
I have the location setting switched on and it starting to become a right royal...
Have I upset Google in some way?

Firstly clear out cookies, temp internet files and cache.

Secondly if you use google services such as plus or gmail log out fully.

Thirdly if you use Google as home page check you are using Google. Co.uk and not .com

Check the regional and language settings within your browser and ensure it's English (United Kingdom etc) also make sure you are going to the .co.uk one and not the .com site.

I have also seen this before when a malware toolbar came down as part of a software package downloaded from the internet that hijacked the browser and acted in a similar way

Can't you just add UK at the end of the sentence, should route you to all UK then :nenau
Just a thought.

I've had a look at the computer itself that says I'm in the UK.
I run Firefox and that's set up in Castellano (Spanish), the computer was bought in Spain.
I'm in the process of cleaning out the temp files.
It appears to be a Firefox problem as British results are found in Chrome.
The other quirk that it has, but not really a problem is that the computer will hunt the Spanish page. For example Paypal have pages in various languages and I sign in and work in English, if I ask a question I'm first sent to English help pages then it suddenly decides to load up the Spanish version. :)

I'm fed up of this, or moreso forgetting to do this, hence the question... ;)

EDIT: After playing around with a few pages and setting pages I arrived at a Google home page with a little tag at the bottom asking whether I want to use Google UK. Job jobbed. Thanks for the input.
