another fob programming

my god what a task, I was just about to give when finally I got the thing to program, must have been the 20th time of trying

all I can say is if at first you don't succeed tr & try & try & try & try & try & try .......again:thumb2
 
ha ha yeah I had the same issue, maybe not quite 20 times but certainly a fair few!!
 
Well i ordered 2 for my motor the other day.I'm guessing ill be having fun when i come to doing it.

I have 3 spare fobs now as well as I went to see my mate at a local scrappies and got few to try:naughty:naughty:naughty
 
Just done mine tonight. It worked 2nd attempt. And you can only have 4 fobs per vehicle according to autodata.
Im after another if anyone has 1 for sale

I have one here if you want it, I dont need more than 2, few quid should cover it, not sure how to identify the mhz though although some numbers are on them they are difficult to make out exactly what they are

Is it the one with a red button and a black button

the Mhz is printed on the circuit board :thumbs
 
Wish i looked into this more before i got the one's ive had through today.The fob i had with the car had no label on the back nor could i see anything on the board.The ones i got is 418MHz when ive a gut feeling its 433MHz(like it says at the bottom on the guide in the download section :doh:doh) so i guess ill have to look for another one now.Next task is to find the siren as i know it naff and ill replace it with another one

the horn is behind the boot side panel on the drivers side, almost bolted above the wheel arch in the inner wing:thumb2 I know because I disconnected mine when fob wouldnt work

Thanks for that m8:thumbs Now ive got one fob working whilst i wait for the second ill replace the sirun unit now
