Alarm sounder - Where ??

Tried my alarm today - flashes the lights nicely but no noise
Where should the sounder be ? Cant see it under the bonnet or in the drivers side panel in the boot as per other suggestions ?

Its a MY2000 2.7tdi and the standard fit alarm

Ok have just been looking in the dark with a torch so might have missed it so pics would be great.

mine is inside, at the back behind decore panel,

access by rear light cluster cover. op side to jack.

Just had another look to see if I has missed it - no its not there, only wiring I can see goes to the brake lights and to the power point (which doe snot work incidently !)
If have time at the weekend might start removing a bit more trim and fix the power socket

Anoy other ideas where the alarm sounder should be ?

you need to play "VETS"

get you arm right in there, its next to where the fuel filler pipe is.

OK didnt realise it was that far down ! Thanks - will try later

I will end up getting my arm stuck - just know it !

Better work out how remove that trim panel or if I'm lucky pull the wires up and just buy another sounder unit !

it will be a tight fit,

as to power.. look here might be of some help.

not sure if pics are there as cant see any pics on work PC.

mmm Cant see any pics - but just pushed my arm down and felt what I think is the alarm sounder,

I think the safest option will to try and remove the rear panel and go from there
