could be the manifold gasket has blown releasing your boost into engine bay i canrt see it being that if it blowing that bad sure youd hear it!

I’m with Jace and very sceptical on this, I think they are barking up the wrong tree, I look forward to being wrong though.

I may have got the term wrong he may have said Inlet Manifold will keep u posted when ive heard more back!

Intrestingly i found out that this new mechanic drove the car on thursday and for a short while it went like a roket again and then lost all power, guess this made him question the turbo idea and look further. this guy is supposed to be very good (and very busy) im hopefull that this guy can fix it!!!

hi Again,
Terrance is back adn he is running amazingly ( i really should not say this its seems to jinx him  ) the last guy spent a lot of time figuring out this problem but he fixed it!!
the Inlet manifold did have three splits in which helped the problem a lot but car still kept suddewnly losing power when u turned of ingnition and turned back car would drive again.
Ok so teh culprit was! inside the air filter to right off maff, the glue on the seal had come loose so part of the seal was blocking the flow of air which caused the ecu to get a wrong air flow reading so car would die untill u reset it by turning off and back on.

Hope this makes sense this is my interpritation of what the mechanic told me!

Thanks again for all the help with this problem 8)
oh ps there was a smal leak in one of the supposedly checked fuel lines which cd have caused air in the fuel filter housing.

Glad you have it sorted now terrance, just in time for Xmas.
