Hi,

Terrano has air con, light comes on when I press the button an you get very very slight change in temp of the air.
Going to go in for a recharge.
I've read on a few searches that air con can give issues on a terrano and quite common, followed by comments sayings it's something loose that needs tightened?
Can anyone shed any light on what parts and areas to check before going in for a recharge?
I'm going to go for kwik for as decent price, but I do know if it doesn't charge kwik fit just say compressors faulty without chaw kin anything.
Cheers

mine had a leak where the pipes come in from engine bay through bulkhead.
had it checked and re gassed and noticed a wet patch on the passenger side foot well after about a week or so. pulled the carpet back and I could see where the it had run down the inner bulkhead and under the carpet.
took it back and the guy said it was fine when it left his workshop.
got it done at local imo carwash.
now I just open the windows.

Replace your pollen filter before taking it for regas, theres a download on how to do this.
Mine on the 05 plate was similar to yours but had it regassed and its fine now. My old one on the other hand has a leak somewhere did promise it that id get it sorted if it passed mot but alas it failed so bugger that one.

Mine did exactly this, check the revs pickup when the ac button is pressed on fan 1 or more setting. If so all is looking good, go for a regas n try your luck :thumb2

Gloleak can identify in the future if you have a leak, but can still be difficult to identify.

Cheers all.

Didn't even think about pollen filter - better check it out.

Il wing it for a regas first.
