I've just got a 2005 Terrano 2.7 and like it very much.

One of the air-con fuses keeps blowing as soon as I switch the air-con on. There are two 10A fuses - does anyone know exactly what these are connected to?

Thanks,
Tim

Hello Tim,

Do you have climate control ?

Not sure on you having 2 fuses for the AC looking at the diagram there is only one but yours could be later than the diagram in the workshop manual.

You could try disconnecting the wire to the compressor and see if the fuse blows this will rule out the magnetic clutch in the AC compressor to start with.

No climate control - Good idea about disconnecting the control to the compressor clutch - I'll give it go tomorrow night if it's not too cold !

Thanks,

hi also have a 2005 t2 which instantly blows the fuse just been regassed did you find out what problem was? ta peter

I gave up in the end and the secondhand dealer who I'd bought the car from a few weeks earlier got an auto-electrician out who fixed it. Been fine since. Sorry - no more details on what was actually wrong.
